Way back in 1983 I encountered my first project aged 16 and under strict supervision, now when i say strict this was back in the days when sheeting didn’t have teleporters or health and safety. Everything was bumped up a ladder and every job seemed to encounter 30 degree pitched roofs and northern lights. I still have the ringing in the ears from the fixers verbal abuse just because i had the cheek to grab a sandwich out of the van at lunch or something else of equal importance..

It amazes me still how i put up with it all but maybe it was the fact i was reminded so often at the time that i was ‘just the boy’ and there was this stubborn sheeter and cladder fighting to get out who knew he could do it better.

Obviously the skills increased in time until there was no job that couldn’t be done (correctly) apart from those jobs that were run by contractors who seemed to think we did the job for fun instead of wages.

I have a huge array of experience in roofing and cladding as well as the steelwork, my vast experience on the subject is exactly why clients receive the correct advice in accomplishing the job that suits their needs.

Rarely will you see companies in this industry being run by experienced Tradesmen. Gladly I retired from the fixing back in 2004 before starting this business whereby the ethos is firmly based on paying tradesmen their worth to achieve a quality job.

Equally management is vitally important to achieve high standards and i developed my management skills further when i stopped fixing.

I have no overspend in my offices as this is where i like to keep it lean, Good tradesmen are rare and I know exactly who is good and who isn’t.

Roofing and cladding is in my blood, whether is refurbishment, new build or maintenance we can do it all without any fuss..
